Pinky, 1980s Shogun 300 mixte -
Snagged off of Craigslist for a mere $45, Pinky was promptly stripped and rebuilt with a hand-picked mix of commuter-worthy parts. The only original parts on the bike are the headset and the stem… everything else was replaced by Matt to make Mo the perfect short-distance commuter. Equipped with a Wald basket, Jandd grocery panniers, a Blackburn rack, fenders and LED-flashing pedals, Mo takes Pinky to work, the grocery store, farmers market, and any other errands in the Arlington area. You might even catch Mo cruising down Mass Ave carrying 60 lbs of laundry from her massage practice in her Burley Nomad trailer. Give her a wave and she’ll ring her bell… Ding! Ding!
(It’s also the only bike in collection with a kickstand!).
